Has anyone ever totalled up just how many things they've acquired through mystery shopping?

    In the last month alone I've had;

    4 Chicken Meals
    4 Hamburger type meals
    2 Underground sandwiches
    2 Holiday quotes
    8 Books of stamps
    1 Pack of batteries

I should point out that I don't actually eat the entire fast food meals on most occasions. I tend to sample the food to check the quality is as it ought to be and then discard the rest. A complete waste of food but I equally don't want a heart attack! Makes for interesting reading when you total all of these things up!

    Ive had

    60 eggs
    2 burgers
    3 x fuel
    5 x sandwiches
    2 x chicken meals
    Eyeliner
    6 x supermarket goods
    Drinks and 3 ready meals
    Kids colouring book
    Birthday card

When I look back at photos I think "What the heck was I thinking?!!:eek:
    ;)
  • I have had difficulty too with RE. I completed my report but when I reached the receipt and photo part it won't send. Both the items are less than 1mb, so can't understand why. I've phoned and emailed twice but since Friday but no reply, but I did receive an 'abrupt' message about it being late! Not worth taking on work from them, the pay is terrible and so much hassle!

I do apologise for all the aggro I caused jumping to conclusions. If that was an Olympic sport I would win it hands down.

In my defence I have had an awful week.Mum last week decided her fridge with a small freezer bit on top thought it was using too much electricity. I have power of attorney but for some reason she seems to remember her pin number so went to Comet and bought a new fridge. Cost £189 plus they charged £25 for delivery, £9 to take the old one away. But the new one doesn't even have an ice box. My mum's partner who pays zilch for his keep went ballistic as he likes ice cream. His daughter never visits and leaves him to me as well. Suddenly up she comes last week and told mum she needs to but a tabletop freezer as her dad needs it. I am livid as he is getting free board and lodging and got £400 for over 80 heating allowance yet gave mum not a penny.

Now you can see why I so stressed. I have had to order a new tabletop freezer costing over £100.

I can' tput mum into care even for a fortnight as she thinks there is nothing wrong with her.

Sorry to use you all as Marjorie Proops but I am going bonkers with all this. A month ago my mum had the police at my door saying I was stealing all her money.

Through my GP though I am joining a group for people with relatives with Alzheimers disease which I think will help me a lot. Being a carer is such a lonely existence as it is only in this situation do you realise the strain it causes.

Thank you all for your kind support. You are all wonderful.

You have all made me laugh at getting my sister here in bits and pieces.

Just wondering if there would be any merit in having a facebook area, for when MSE is down? I can understand the need for members being wary of having their names splattered on facebook - I think a coded group name might do it and a closed group by invite might be an idea.
Praying at the church of MSE should be compulsory!

There are three types of people in the world, those who can add up and those who can't.

I've just been catching up with everything on here and know that HP reacted totally out of character - but you can see why when you realise what she has to go through sometimes.

What leg of the journey would you like ME to ferry your sister HP?!!

I can't offer to drive her but could give her a piggy-back from the end of the M8 to yours if someone can drop her off there!

Still no Gap money? Not even pending in my bank for tomorrow. Has anyone had theirs yet this month?

Have now emailed them....await the reply.

Know this isn't the right place (sorry), but I REALLY do feel for you, and want to say "I know what you are going through" after reading about your mum. :grouphug:

I infact had a restless sleep last nite thinking about my mum with dementia. She lives 30 miles from me and can only get to see her once a week, if that.

Keep the Mystery Shops going, it takes your mind of things for a while ! Got a biggy mortgage enquiry today, feel nervous about it ! :o

    Take care Hollypear x
