Hi hows it going, will try not to be to cheeky as I know mystery shopping is a secretive game, Have done market research - audits for 3 years make around a extra £350 a month, was wondering if anyone out there had any sites or agencys I may not have heard of as just lost my job and need to boost my income (send in a message). Live in hertfordshire just so I dont steal your patch, many thanks

Has anyone ever totalled up just how many things they've acquired through mystery shopping?

    In the last month alone I've had;

    4 Chicken Meals
    4 Hamburger type meals
    2 Underground sandwiches
    2 Holiday quotes
    8 Books of stamps
    1 Pack of batteries

I should point out that I don't actually eat the entire fast food meals on most occasions. I tend to sample the food to check the quality is as it ought to be and then discard the rest. A complete waste of food but I equally don't want a heart attack! Makes for interesting reading when you total all of these things up!

    My favourites have been:
    sacks of birdseed
stamps (used to post ebay parcels, till gyp stopped me doing them :()
free bets (won £80 on one :))
enough antihistamine tablets to last for years
tons of batteries for camera & remote controls
decent cups of coffee - only fancy one every now & then & this fills my habit nicely
plus loads of toilet paper - I always buy it on garage jobs to say I need a receipt for work. I know the jobs are due again when I start running low :rotfl:
the odd decent meal & casino visit
and finally learning what kind of discounts were available on cars - meaning I got +30% off mine :)
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
    :) Mortgage Balance = £0 :)

I can't believe you did 5 pharmacies! Did my first ever one yesterday and the report was sooo long! So many questions. I can see why people have been moaning about them.

    Plus two the day before.

Has ANYONE got a need for decongestant tablets...

    This month....

    bread and milk (Petrol station)
    Batteries
4 decent coffees (premium car dealers)
    more batteries
    pizza meal out
    some more batteries
    fuel
    screenwash
free home shop delivery for £30
5 coffees from 10 car dealerships
    burger meal
    small supermarket reimbursement
    a new shaving brush
    meal in a hotel
nail varnish (for my wife - honest)
    Dog food
    8 shower gels
    pack of tissues
    toothpaste
    antibacterial handwash
    Burger lunch
    2 fancy sandwiches
    2 cookies
    4 coffees
    Magnetic fish tank cleaners

Think that is about it this month.

Crikey! I'm jealous of your little stashes of goodies. There's only so many burgers and pieces of a chicken one man can sustain!

All those Goodies and not an egg in sight ! Reading back earlier this month there seemed to be nothing else around !
  • Does anyone know why RE actually need photos of places we have visited? To be fair the ones I have done recently are for places where I have had to provide a receipt also, so surely there can be no need for verification of location?

I did three decongest. shops the other day (I know think I had too many wines when I accepted them!) Anyway the weather was dreadful and it was dark, so the lights of the shop clashed with the camera and the weather just added the icing on the cake! I did apologise when entering the results but have just had an email saying the photo was not good enough and could I send another....!!!!!! if I had a better one I would have added it in the first place:mad:

    Rant over,,,,,,for now!

It is for verification, but they also put the photo on the front of the report they send to the client.

I did a "posh sandwich" job for them once but my camera was playing up, the photo just showed up as a big red box  but they said not to worry, they had one on file they could use.
