Yes. The shop the brief is for, is, I think, a particularly alcoholic beer & wine store that we visited when we went to Southwold. We’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
I saw the doughnut jobs earlier this month, shortly after RE's new website launched. The briefs then was for wine merchant too. I think it's an error.0

Does anyone else get really, really annoyed when you've been to a particular place, and then you get home, and suddenly jobs appear for that area to be done that day?
See, I went to Charlton on Tuesday, just to do a coffee job for React. Try as I may, couldn't find any other jobs to do there at the same time.
But 2 jobs just cropped up on RE, one for a bed store, one for the bottom-slapping supermarket, both with a due date of the 20th ie yesterday. Someone obviously accepted them, didn't do them, and released them just now.
I could have done those 2 jobs Tuesday!
ETA: In fact, I actually went to the supermarket, so I have a receipt, I have a good mind to accept the job then make it all up!!!!We’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Yeah i've shopped them a few times - they're only in East Anglia and have only got about 10 stores.
On the plus side, means I can get another bottle of wine soon (if RE sort their issues out).0 -
Just accepted one of these RE Donut Jobs.
Assignment notes are for an off licence. Qualifying questions included saying yes to buying two types of booze and confirming that you will eat something out of pastry.
The questionnaire looks like a generic template.
My pet theory is that these are some form of training aid or IT test assignment. Unfortunately they don't realise that real shoppers might be using the website.
Lesson to be learnt (if my theory is correct): DON'T TRAIN PEOPLE OR TEST YOUR IT ON THE LIVE SYSTEM :think:0 -

I bet they will take the jobs away, just like the phone calls. If they do threaten to sue them as they will be in breach of contract.:rotfl:0 -

So your the one that got the coffee job that I wanted0 -
They are probably trying to fix errors on the website and had to list visits to do this, hence the minimal fee and reimbursement and odd dates, they probably don't expect MS'ers to actually pick up these jobs with these fees/timescales.. that's my theory.. failing that they have got that friday feeling a day early...!Christmas 2020 £109

They are great shops too. The people in my local one are great, really knowledgeable and nothing is too much troubleIf you can’t beat your computer at chess, try kickboxing.:rotfl:0 -
