I apologise for my 6 year old son who seems to have hijacked the computer. All deleted now. xPraying at the church of MSE should be compulsory!

Are there any other companies you'd recommend for beginners ? I've signed up for Helion, Gapbuster and Emysteryshopper so far?
I would recommend for beginners gfk although they are full in some postcodes but try anyway. Also Retail Maxim are excellent. Cram as many Gap jobs as you can as it gets you into the way of MS'ing. Both TNS and Tern have application tests so I would wait for a bit until you feel confident as if you fail you can't reapply. Also try Optimum contact ( details on 1st page). They have easy reports. You could try RE but you need endless patience and I loathe them. I am off to have a coffee as I am just in from a blizzard. I will repost shortly on why I have just done my last ever RE job. And I will have a look again at the list of companies to join for newbies.
I can do a list of tips for you which I have done before for newcomers. As really it is by forgetting things, making mistakes that really make you learn by them.
I wish you the best of luck. Most of all enjoy it.Clique member no 1.:D0 -

Moneymabel also sign up with Abai and Grassroots. Take it easy at 1st and don't take on too many on one day as remember as well as travelling there and back and doing the shop as well as the report.
Print your briefing notes and what I do is mark with a highlighter pen must remembers and important points. Also have a look at the questionnaire to check what questions you will have to remember. You can use your make a note function on your mobile and it just looks like your texting. In a coffee or eating in job you can take a magazine and make notes somewhere...people will think you are doing a crossword. Always check left and right even if not required. It is a good habit to get into.
I could not personally recommend RE. There reports are ridiculous. They practically want you to right a flaming novel. I haven't done one for 6 months and against my better judgement did a pet food place today. The report wouldn't submit as it kept saying I had unanswered questions.
For instance I was asked was any MOS outstanding. I wrote screeds about how good the huy who served me was. Then did I witness another MOS give outstanding service eg change a tyre for a customer or accompany a customer to their car holding an umbrella cos it was raining. Do these clowns in RE ever shop. Have you ever in your puff gone to buy dog food , got a puncture and expect the bloke in the to change the tyre. Not even Harrods would do that.
So I got cheesed off and put "No I didn;t witness any MOS go the extra mile and actually I have AA membership in case of things like tyre punctures I certainly wouldn't expect someone in a store to change a tyre" I can imagine the proffreader having apoplexy reading that."
Hence the reason I nicknamed them Ridiculous Eyeballs.Clique member no 1.:D0 -

Blimey I have been going to bingo for yonks and never won that in my whole time. Most I ever won was £185 on my 3rd visit. Since then most I have won is £60 here and there. Still love it though. Someone I know of won just under £1 mil.Clique member no 1.:D0 -

typical. Bored and cold in norwich centre waiting for the time to tick to my next assignment I decided to have a burger and see if i get a floor show. No luck but instead slow service, messy restaurant and a black object in the burger smothered in far too much sauce. Plus there appears to be a 10p price rise. Next time someone gets an australian call can they mention the need for a rise in reimbursement. Still at least the wi fi works!Praying at the church of MSE should be compulsory!
