  • there is a tom tom which has prepaid updates on it, as when buying a normal tom tom these updates are pretty expensive!

    I agree, TomTom's are the best. You can update them for free online which is even better. We used to have a Navman, but it got so out of date and you couldn't update it which was no good, so recently bought a TomTom and it's a lot better.

  • regarding updating tom tom free i would like to know where you can do this, as when i update mine for programme updates the road data is priced at £19.99 sometimes more. you can opt to be in a map share for free but thats it

    You can update the operating program for free but not the maps.

    I would add further that i had occasion to dismantle by Tomtom one for electronic surgery purposes and it appears to be a very well made,solid piece of kit inside.
    Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..
