I said that before - its the AA driving school which uses green badge holders i.e. fully trained instructors only. This statement applies to national schools only.0

I have been offered membership via my employers (cost: 25 for myself + spouse). Do other members find their membership worthwhile (ie: in respect of savings to be made)?
Thanks!If it's cheap, I'm cheerful!0 -

Jolly_Roger wrote:Do you realise that virtually all BSM instructors are trainees? I can't remember the exact colour, but I think those displaying pink ID on their windows have yet to qualify. I know this because my self-employed ADI explained this to me while I was learning with her. She worked for BSM for a short time and got out as quickly as possible. She says that the instructors are all right, but not 100% qualified as such!0

I have just sent my husband in to the Bristol Costco where I had reserved 15 boxes for 1 hour lessons, even though the girl new I was not already a member. It was very simple to become a member. My son has already started driving lessons but I took the vouchers into my local office and they were very happy to accept them all for my son's existing account. The one hour simulator voucher in each pack might be worth a hugh discount off a driving lesson, I am waiting for the office to get back to me. They seem to think instead of £22.25 I might be able to use them to claim £15 off each driving lesson.0
