1 hour BSM Driving Lessons £11.75 @ COSTCO

Bearing in mine the recent thread about BSM driving lessons from Halfords which have now all dried up. I thought this may be of interest to some who missed the boat. On visiting Costco Derby on saturday I noticed that Costco are selling BSM Learner driving Kits containing:

1 hour BSM Driving Lesson Voucher
1 Hour BSM Driving simulator Voucher
1 DVD (or CD ?) with Theory test and Hazard perception test training and questions on
1 Learn to drive BSM / RAC book
1 pair of tie on L plates.

The kit sells for £11.75 (inc Vat) and Costco had loads on display in the book section.

I know its not as good a price as Halfords but none the less its not a bad price, bearing mind a 1 hour lesson in my area is £22.50.

I bought 21 of the packs and have just created an account with the BSM. My daughter who is 17 in a few weeks and will start to learn to drive logged 30 1 hour vouchers + 6 simulator lessons (21 from Costco and 9 from Halfords). The girl in the BSM office had no problems at all in banking the vouchers onto my Daughters BSM account.

Thanks to the poster for the origanal thread on the Halfords vouchers.

Thank you for this. Do these have "use by dates"? I'm thinking of getting this now while it's available even if daughter is not 17 until November. Can't quite collect enough tesco vouchers! Thanks again.

bought 2 packs last week from Costco. On the box it states expires 30/06/2006. However on the vouchers states 30/06/2007. So guess the voucher would be the correct one.

I bought one of these kits for my little brother at Xmas and in those ones the voucher for the lesson was only for when you booked a certain amount then you got a free one. I take it the deal has changed now then.

You cant buy as a visitor you need a card to be able to shop and no you cant shop online.

To get a card as a vistor buyer, do you need any Tarde ID?

I dont think they do visitor buyer cards. Im not sure tho cause im not a trade member, im an individual member so rules might be different.

Having browsed the website you can only purchase from the store if you fill a trade application, you must provide details to prove you are a business trader.

All the info you need is on the costco website
