  • yes, it is like that, it is also in a cupboard that is 8 inches wide (and i am considerably wider than that!) and round the corner in there, so its really not easy to see it.. i cant see the last dial at all without a mirror!
  • As you can see from the diagram very easy to make a mistake with these meters. If yours is in a difficult place it might be easier to take a photo of the dial with a digital camera so you can then read it from a computer screen to make sure you have got it right.

    It seems there is a good chance that the meter had been misread, as if you are not used to them you can make the assumption that all the dials read clockwise; and reading it with a mirror will complicate matters.
