Car Parking - Private compaines

I have a PCN: not an invoice - I don't want to pay it but don't want to end up paying out more if they take me to court. If I really thought I was in the wrong I would pay it.
You don't have a real PCN (Penalty Charge Notice) unless it's from the Council.
You have a Parking Charge Notice which is a worthless bit of paper, in fact not really even an invoice as there have been no services provided to you to warrant any 'invoice'.
It's a demand for money with no legal backing, a bit like someone mugging you!
Even if you were in the 'wrong', so to speak, you should still NOT pay any private parking ticket. These people are scammers from an industry which relies on scare tactics. Even if you had parked in a disabled or a parent & child bay in a private car park (which you didn't) you shouldn't even begin to think about paying any such rubbishy 'fine'!
Only a mug would ever pay a private parking ticket. Here's a link to a Mail article (below). It's a few years old but it's about the PPC that tried to mug you, which is owned by one Gary Wayne (a chavvier name would be hard to find, LOL!) a 'businessman' who runs CCPM from his four-bedroom, £400,000 home in Mill Hill, North London:

Also then I urge you to read the countless other threads from people here on MSE, all of whom are ignoring their tickets (including me, think mine have given up now as the standard threatening letters have run their course).
To read them just click on the blue link above 'parking fines, tickets and parking' which is just under the BANKING SAVING Orange tab at the top of the page. Every thread listed which talks about a private parking charge is an example of someone who is ignoring this junk and the threatening letters (which will follow, then will peter out completely).
Now forget about it, enjoy Christmas and tell your friends and relatives about this scam. Direct them here or to pepipoo.com as it's such a common scam they are bound to get a ticket sometime if they drive.
:TPRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Watchdog on BBC1 recently run a story on this and associated private car park companies, they had a solicitor on, and his advice was to shape the PCN into a paper aeroplane and chuck it into the air!
Which he did! lol0
