TalkTalk Customer service - warning

I have been with TT for 2 years and apart from at the start where it took 6 weeks for BT to unbundle my line it has been fine
TT CS is not the best as they did keep fobbing me off but it was sorted in the end
I was with Virgin for 2 years and they got my Direct debit wrong in 14 out of 24 bills
they chargered me they would always recredit me after i complained but it just got to be such a chore i cancelled
I have vodafone mobile and they got wrong for the 1st 3 months on my direct debit as well
I think there is a pattern with this that the CS is poor and they just rely on people putting up with it and because they have a DD mandate and just take the money from your account youre a bit stuck0 -

Last Friday I came home to find my phone line was restricted to incoming calls only.I opened my monthly phone bill only to find the DD was rejected due to an "account closed".
I phoned them only to find out they had had a software upgrade and that they had tried to take the DD from an account I had closed 6 months earlier.I was told I had to pay the bill over the phone including £11 in charges and then the restriction would be lifted from my phone no more than 24hrs later...This was a f***ing cheek considering it was their fault.Allegedly they have credited this back to my account
The next day the restriction was still there so I tried to phone their "landline support" at 9-25pm ,which was supposedly open till 10pm, yep you guessed it ,it was shut.So I then e-mailed them asking someone to phone me the next morning (Monday) to explain why .Monday came and nothing, no e-mail, no phone contact nothing.Monday 11pm it was lifted .
We had to use PAYG mobiles all weekend and spent around £10-00,not a great deal of money agreed but im totally p***ed off at their customer service. If it was my fault I would put my hands up but It wasn't...........
I will NEVER recommend Talk-Talk again..........Crap......
Just a footnote. When we signed up to Talk-Talk for our phone 3 yrs ago we were told that FREE broad-band would be available in our area after that Christmas...Braodband wasn't actually available until 8 months ago and even then it would cost £23-50 per month......................
SHYSTERS the lot of them.....Everyone I spoke to sounded like they would slash their own wrists at any moment.....
Totally agree..meerkats got better luck! Got this email after sending enquiry (already phoned..was on phone all morning) about their plan to charge me (no hint of a warning in writing) £29.99 for going over to Talk Talk (bargain half price as exTiscali customer)..Now we have a re-pricing excercise. Interesting!!!!!
Thank you for contacting TalkTalk Customer Support regarding the re-pricing exercise.

TalkTalk Customer Relations
After reading this toe curling, hernia inducing nonsense..called the 0800 number. After 17.5 minutes of listening to automated ..jargon...our customer service advisors are all busy ..mantra. ... Another automaton said...Please call back later and without warning, promptly cut me off! Now that's what I call Customer Service, especially as the email says the lines are open from 8 till 10pm. Not so .. hours quoted are different.
When asking them specific question/questions, why have they advised going to their pricing team, having given previous written assurances to Tiscali customers about changeover and pricing. I can't possibly express my deepest expletives on here! A v sign just wont do!

TALKTALK - Dear God in Heaven.
They offer the "cheapest service" - Cannot fault that statement. I had 7 months of hell with their Technical Support - My connection on BBand was 900k _ I asked, begged and threatened but all I had was sir have you checked your DSL filter, How far is you machine from the main socket, then they blamed the whether, the wirless connection - which was excellent as I was wired directly, They sent new DSL filters, they blamed a hub they blamed the distance from the BT HUB they blamed my computer - What they counldnt get their head around was - I WAS ON ALLUNMINIUM CABLING not copper. They wouldnt cascade to manager, they refused to let me speak to a manager. I left and they were as their thechnical support addmitted they could not find the issue - which we new was - yes alluminimum cabling - I joined BT ( and thats a nother story) and they siad - OH your still on alluminim cabling - OH JOY I sent that to talk talk as proof they said OH have you checked the DSL filters are in and are you on wireess - They are the same people as AOL - I even sent them a link for " A Dummies Guide to Broadband". Ellmar Villadares TalkTalk Customer Relations and the rest of the droids - Yes you are Cheap!0
