Just got my glass report and there is £3000 of a difference between the 2 valuations.

    What valuations?

What is your car? Age, Spec, Model, Mileage.

The dealer is definitly pulling a fast one. I wouldnt expect any less for it than the equivalent UK model unless the spec differs massively in which case I would expect the value of a similar spec.

The only issue might be if it isnt under warranty or serviced but I would expect it to be anyway

Is it an actual imported car or has the dealer sourced foreign spec cars? There is a difference. Motorpoint often source foreign spec cars for bulk discounts etc. Doesnt necessarily make them "imports"

Secondly an 08 plate car could not have been registered in Dec 07. Its impossible. The car must have been registered after March 08. It was in all likiehood that they sourced a bulk order direct from the manufacturer and registered them all and sold them as pre regs. They would I imagine be down as UK registered and hence not imports.

Overall I dont think you have a leg to stand on here.

As for the PPI. Its your responsibility to ensure the details are correct not them although a PPI may be non enforceable anyway.

Where does the reg in 2007 come from?? the OP said earlier, not a year earlier, yeah?

But Motorpoint are becoming notorious for their grey imports that do not have the same spec as uk sourced cars.

See if the diffrence is important to you before you press PAY
I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.

Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)

Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed
