At 2.42 pm the stock market was up (albeit by not very much).

The same cannot be said for Standard Life.

Standard closed on Tuesday at 269p .

1 day chart v the FTSE 100

5 day chart v the FTSE 100

3 month chart v the FTSE 100

6 month chart v the FTSE 100

1 Year chart v the FTSE 100

2 Year chart v the FTSE 100
It turns out that Standard shares have ended up "tracking" the FTSE since launch - but in a rather peculiar way - i.e. thay got 30% up on the FTSE, and went 10% down on the FTSE before equalizing.

Does anyone know the date Standard Life floated, I can't remember and want to know if it affects my tax return this year, or next?

Standard Life originally floated on the 10th July 2006.

The bonus shares (if relevant) were issued on the 10 July 2007.
