Morning all (or should I say MOANING ALL)!!!! Just back from a wasted cold, icy, frosty journey to Glenavy to Ballance House for their Victorian Fair which had been CANCELLED. Great communication from the organisers I DON'T THINK. Apparently emails were sent out last night to tell everyone it was cancelled, yet myself and 2 other crafters arrived in the cold to wait to set up. They also did not receive any emails, even a post on here would have given us information!!!! I know the weather is bad and I am sure it would have affected the turn out but we have had the poor weather for over a week now and the decision could have been made alot earlier, as other organisers have done so and communicated it well on here. That's my moaning over, to cap it all the Blackpool V United match is cancelled aswell!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Someone said it was on the radio too. If they couldn't contact you by email they should have at least phoned everyone. Sorry for the waste of day for you, maybe you could do some Christmas shopping :T

No, I was the Jewellery stand at the door opposite Erin & next to the Migilo stand. I did ok too, not a waste of time but yep just a pity there werent more people about but then I'm not sure I would be out in that weather if I didn't have to be!!!! I'm def not a winter chick, lol x

Oh yes, I did see your stall, I was up with the noisy crowd selling pottery and jam! We had a great nights craic, but pity not everyone had good sales!

Hi Smokiewater, I was at the Downpatrick Fair on sat, it was just ok, could have done with more people! Apparently last year was bunged.... guess you just never know
