Hey ladies, Just informing you all due to the recent weather i am cancelling Saturday's Fair. I would not ask or expect stall holders or general public to come out in the cold especially with the forcast stating its to be bad next few days.

For those who are booked into saturdays fair i can hold your spot for the June one if you are interested in attending that?

please let me know what you want to do

A difficult call to make Michelle, disappointing after the effort of organising it too. I'm not sure at this point whether I will be able to do June so will not put my name down at this stage and let you know nearer the time if I can go and you still have tables. Thanks Wendy.
  • :j Hi Smokie!! Im still here, just been a bit manic lately with exams, study, chickens, fairs, crafting, rebuilding work at home...:o

Good to finally meet you on Friday, having known you so long on-line!

How's your chickens dealing with the snow, my older two have seen it all before and aren't fazed by it, the duck loves it but two of the wee ones do not like it at all!!!!! New line in shivering chickens at our house!:snow_laug
DJWW - cos we won't let it!
  • Afternoon everyone I'm having so much fun doing these craft fairs. I like to say thank you for all the helpful tips each time my table is looking better and I'm learning more and more what my best seller is (e.g personalised items I can make on the spot and children jewellery). Still looking for craft fairs to do for the weekend of 18th or 19th or both, as I'm based in Larne would need to keep travel with in an hour max, if you know of any where please pm me. thank you again.

  • Hi ladies!!!
It was great to meet some of you at the evening in Castlereagh tonight :hello:

Pity we weren't a wee bit busier  but hey, then I wouldn't have had time to chat to all you lovely ladies :D

    Have a great weekend!!!! xx
  • Morning all (or should I say MOANING ALL)!!!! Just back from a wasted cold, icy, frosty journey to Glenavy to Ballance House for their Victorian Fair which had been CANCELLED. Great communication from the organisers I DON'T THINK. Apparently emails were sent out last night to tell everyone it was cancelled, yet myself and 2 other crafters arrived in the cold to wait to set up. They also did not receive any emails, even a post on here would have given us information!!!! I know the weather is bad and I am sure it would have affected the turn out but we have had the poor weather for over a week now and the decision could have been made alot earlier, as other organisers have done so and communicated it well on here. That's my moaning over, to cap it all the Blackpool V United match is cancelled aswell!!!!!!!!!!!!!
