Evening everyone!
Feels like ages since I've been on! Got my non-payer sorted. Finally! What's everyone been up to?
Went to The Creative Craft Show today. Had a ball, and spent a fortune! Let's hope Cal doesn't need new shoes or such any time soon!
Also went to Stormont Hotel today and left in the 10ft banner I had made for the fair. Think it's big enough?! lol! Still a few tables if anyone's interested.0 -

I've been ill for a month and haven't had a chance to book properly for Christmas! Anyone know of any fairs that still have places? At the weekends - I don't drive and have to bug other people!
Also was wondering if anyone ever thought about taking on a short term lease for a retail unit and what legal thingagigs you have to do for that as well obviously if you think it's worthwhile?
Any help! *bats eyelashes*
Fairs for Crimbo - probably best to find the last list and just get phoning, so many at the moment that some are bound to have space.
We take 'mall promotion' space in some shopping centres prices vary from about £300 to £2k per week!!!!! And most are probably booked for Christmas now, phone the centre managers and ask if there is any availabilty - you never know if this is going to work for you or not until you try, however a degree of professionalism is expected in stand set up and presentation, you are normally asked to submit photographs of your display before being offered space. Some also insist on stand opening hours, which can be long and I believe one city centre premises charge a levy is you are not open during their full opening hours! For shop space be aware of rates and a licence agreement will probably have to be signed which you may want a solicitor to look over. There was someone on here last week offering space in one of the centres in Ballymena - you could always send them a pm.
Good luck with it anyway.DJWW - cos we won't let it!0 -
