How did everyone get on at Bangor Elim yesterday? It was my first fair so didn't have anything to compare it too.:rotfl:
I did get valuable tips on what fragrances etc were the most popular and also on things to get for my display!!! Ebay here I come!!0 -
Just caught up on the last weeks posts! Please no-one take offence to this comment, but it's better than Eastenders!
Glad it all got sorted though. Honestly. I love coming on here and hearing what everyone's been up to, and getting advice and chat. You are all amazing. You have kept this going so well, and I for one would REALLY miss it & you.
Now for me to whinge! Someone did a bunk from my fair today without paying!I'll not write on here what I said!
I can't believe that. I did my first fair yesterday and it was VERY poorly attended, but I wouldn't have dreamt of not paying, it's not the organisers fault.
Also a VERY short sighted thing to do. You are now never going to let this person on any Craft Fair you organise and should perhaps let anybody you know who is organising a craft fair be on their guard too!
However, playing devils advocate for a moment, is it possiblt that it slipped the persons mind and they left without paying by mistake?
Being of the absent minded variety myself, I suppose it is possible. You will soon know when you contact them for payment!!
I'm at the Garron Towel Craft Fair on Thursday, local to me, so looking forward to a bit of local PR too! I was told £20 for 2 tables though.
Might see some of you there0 -

I'm hoping so. Haven't heard back from them yet. If they don't get in touch, I will let you all know their name so you know who to look out for.
I'm going to Garron Tower too! Had a great time last year. It's like driving up to Hogwarts! :rotfl::D
Starting to feel a bit christmassy now! :xmastree: :santa2: :rudolf:0 -

I was also at a fair on saturday which was very poorly attended and someone told me that it had not been advertised very well and this reflected on everybodys sales
because of this if they try to organise another fair the people that were there on sat will most likely never go back0 -
personalpresence ...... the success of a craft fair is very much down to the organiser, we stall holders rely very much on them puting A LOT OF WORK into actually advertising the fair as much as possible and in as many different places as possible.

I've spoken to a few people that were at diff fairs yesterday, including my own, and it doesn't seem like anywhere was very well attended. Such a shame.0 -

Hi Freddie!
The price stopped me doing it. Not sure how good it is. Gets a good turnout apparently though.0 -
