whats wrong smokie?well one funny story that springs to mind is when my brother in law my serving a customer in his shop one day (he sells lawnmowers)and his shop can be very cold, so he was wearing a coat with a removable hood(hood off and velco round collar)when the customer told him there was a pair of the wifes panties attached to the back of his collar. (they had attached themselves to velco in tumble dryer). He had been walking around all day like this and the staff hadnt told him.good job they were clean(pants)!!!!!

Nice one - on the same lines, but nothing to do with craft - a friend and her hubby were giving up smoking with the aid of nicotine patches - Jackie was having a bad day, gave in and bought the ciggies, confessing to the hubby that night, he said - it's no wonder, your nicotine patch was stuck to my butt!! I'll leave it to everyones imagination as to how it got there, but the washing machine wasn't involved!:j

• Love this quote - can I put it on a heart?

Feeling a bit better - anyone for garlic oil and cider vinegar - thought not, but thats the homeopathic remedies, plus am off wheat awaiting the results of blood tests!

Anyone thinking of doing craft fairs without insurance should look to the example of 'Celtoi Designs' not sure if they are still going or not, but two great guys who decided to make afew mirrors and lamps to sell at craft fairs - thankfully Nicky McGarry who was running their first craft fair at St Georges Market insisted they take out insurance. As they parceled up their second sale, a lamp the child with the customer just touched (or hauled) a mirror on the display which fell and hit her on the head - the mirror was considerably bigger than her, as was the insurance payout considerably bigger than their takings that year!!!!!! From what I remember the child was not bleeding, knocked out or anything and certainly made a full recovery - or perhaps she is still terrified to walk past mirrors, I know I am, but possibly for different reasons!
"You cannot plough a field by turning it over in your mind"

yes smokie ya can put on a heart! that would be lovely- i love that quote too!

I heard about the craft show at the kings hall next week think its thurs-sat, is anyone goin for a nosey?

Also if you want someone can add to our list:

Ballymagee Primary School Bangor, christmas craft fair
Monday 6th Dec, 6:00-8pm- set up from 5:00pm
£15.00 a table

Hi everyone! Had a very interesting meeting with the Hastings Hotel Group this morning. Exciting times are ahead! They've asked if I would be able to organise a christmas fair for them on Sunday 28th November 12-4PM in the gorgeous Stormont Hotel. Very last minute I know. If anyone would be interested, please let me know asap. If all goes to plan, this will be held on a monthly basis. It will run on the first Sunday of every month alongside their very popular Sunday Buffet, so will always have a decent footflow. Let me know what you all think. xxx ref jenniemac
