hi folks new to this but did you know that on the first saturday of every month there is a farmers market / craft at Templepatrick orange hall from 9am - 1pm think it's £15 per table contact pamela on 07802188353 and from september a new farm/craft market will be starting in mossley orange hall 11am - 2pm, contact julie on 07903086057 . both markets still require good food and craft suppliers so feel free to contact both girls .

Thanks for all the info on Saintfield girls, I think I am going to take that weekend off!

Belle, I think you can make lots without needing to charge in to your fair, but I would have a prominent big bucket at the door where people could throw donations in. I would charge for the tea/coffee and do quiz sheets etc, but it is hard enough to get people through the door these days, a freebie might attract them!

I agree with Smokiewater too - dont like fairs where you pay in - puts people off, and less to spend on the stalls, but thats just from a stallholder perspective. From an organisers point of view, I still think by not charging in you are going to get more people in spending their money on activites and things which they can have fun on instead...
