Has anyone done the Saintfield Show in the last couple of years? I haven't done it in about 5 years and am wondering if is any good.

All the Agricultural Shows (dates and contact details) are now on the Irish Shows Association website - far too many to list them all!
DJWW - cos we won't let it!

smokie i havent done it yet but i had the woman organising it in the coffee shop the other week and she has booked me for next year fair.

ladies i need your opinions on this. I was talking to a lady today who has organised fairs in the past and she asked me how much was i charging into the fair i said iw asnt it was free but would have a donation box sitting at the entrance if ppl wanted to throw in somemoney. well she told me i should charge in at leat £1-2 per adult but free for kids as people wont throw in a donation. Im a bit hmm n hamm about it but i wanted to know what you all though on the matter.

im hoping the car wash and games face painting and refreshments selll well as this is all going to the mencap fund hence why i didnt wanna charge in she thinks im MAD not charging in lol

I done it last year but cant do it this year as it clashes with my daughters ballet rehearsal. It was ok but not great but then it doesnt charge as much to exhibit as some of the other shows. Its very well organised though

Michelle I raised £2k at the Glenabbey event and didn't charge in. Charged for tea/coffee, face painting, car wash etc. I find people don't spend to much if they have to pay in. Donation box is a good idea you know I have one on my table and people always put something in. It is up to yourself but I personally wouldn't charge in :)
