Pets and the snow

oh i wish my camera was working to show you how ridiculous my mental cocker looked today.
she hasn't been off lead for 6 months due to her disappearing acts, but today the snow froze into ice balls around her legs and the ends of her ears and got bigger and bigger - in the end I could let her off happily knowing she couldn't physically run off! - she looked so disappointed when she realised the lead wasn't on and the ice balls just got bigger.
I didn't know whether to laugh or feel sorry for her!0 -

My boy-cat Stanley cries to be let out onto the balcony to go on patrol but since this cold snap started he's been welded to his donut-bed under the radiator. If he didn't get up now and then to eat or use the litter-tray I'd swear he'd kicked the bucket0

DH videoed Charlie (exotic boy cat) picking up snow with his paw this morning.
