Pets and the snow

Hmmmm

I remember last year - sliding in my wellies az Zara was dragging me about towards some labrador she did nto like and me holding on to the lamp post...

Just looked out of the window and saw SOME snow - looks lovely and white.

Have your pets seen snow? How did they react?

Zara digs in it with her nose, tries to catch the snow balls I make/throw for her - with that silly look on her face "what to heck was THAT?"...

Will try to dig out some photos from last year snow.....

Thanks Geri - pitty the snow outside today is not as nice as it was last year...
Just came back with the dog, all melting outside already :(
Was hoping for a proper snow that lasts for a bit...

Thanks for pointing this out - I am using Mozilla but checked in IE and they were in a long row so adjusted for IE too.

Yes, Zara loves the snow and as we have woods behind the block of flats where we live - it tends to stay there for a day or two - when it snows kind of properly of course....

Anyone got any pictures of their pets on the snow?

    :D

    We've got proper snow

This is our dog's first snow with us - she was born in Nov last year - we got her as a rescue in April.

She's been in the garden - first time she, what I would call "hopped" for about half a minute and raced back into the house.

Went out again about 5 mins later - raced round in circles on the lawn - came back in

Went out again about 5 mins later - shoving the snow round with her nose - came in and started eating what fell off her feet.

Back at the door to go out yet again - she can wait.... this game could end up being tiresome!!

I'm off to walk her in about 30 mins - we have woods we go through - so could be interesting - she's just come to the end of her first season and yesterday was her first day off the leash for 3 weeks - she went bananas.

Note to self: Must get wellies, this winter dog walking lark looks like it can be quite messy!
