Old Style.
Best place to be!0 -
Although Somerfield is one of the expensive places - even for cheapie stuff!
I have done a shop today for £50 for a family of 6 - including toiletries/nappies etc. (But No fruit/veg - thats done now at the local groceres!)0 -
Hi charlotte - well done £50 for 6, I spent that for 2 of us (and couple of grandkids coming for weekend) Reason for going to that shop is it is on way home from work and nothing else but small co op in our village, it means a 22 mile round trip in opposite direction to get to say Asda so dont know if that would be false economy or not. Will look at Old Style over weekend (kids permitting) you are as you are, if you aren't as you ought to be.0

And check if you're entitled to free prescriptions - pharmacist might know that better than the doc. Sometimes for long-term conditions use of a particular drug is all that's needed to qualify you for a prescription card; pharmacist will have the forms.0 -
Thanks tawnyowls I didn,t know that, I buy loads of painkillers too cos they are cheaper than prescription charges, when I asked my doc if he could prescribe larger amounts he said no. Am hotfooting down to chemist in morning to check it out:confused: you are as you are, if you aren't as you ought to be.0

Dont you dare.
Debt is just money. There are many more important things in life - LIKE YOU.
Agreed. I watched that Panorama show the other night about debt and irresponsible lending. Those guys who committed suicide because they owed so much money probably felt the same way as you do, but I am sure if you asked the families left behind they would rather have ten times the debt and have their fathers/husbands back.'Everyone loves to read but it can be a real nuisance when you lose your place. Here's a solution. When you finish reading a page, just tear it out. You'll save money on bookmarks too!' -- Amanda's Handy Hints, Amanda Keller. :cool:0 -
Thanks Rachel, will do - long way to bring my grandson, I'm up in Yorkshire but if I set off now might make it! but not back tho (Ifeel like running away to be honest), speak to you tomorrowxx (appointment 09.45)
grimelda - I know what you are saying xx:confused: you are as you are, if you aren't as you ought to be.0 -
