Claire, may i suggest you add the people who critisize your posts to your ignore list - then they won't have anything to object about and the rest of us can continue to benefit from the bargains you post.

It wasn't in the hampers bit but just the general offers section I think. It was 6 bottles of champagne for £77 (£13 per bottle) so I've got it as extras for a few people.

well, no free cake for me. I was offered a £5 credit if I kept the broken stand and cake but it definitely isn't worth £10 for the small cake and cake knife so it's going back for a full refund. Last year I got a refund and told to keep the cake!
  • thanks for the heads up, I tried to get one instore the other day but missed out ... I think the tea for 2 could be a last minute gift

from my perspective, Claire has done a fab job ... I had seen the original thread but when I found out it was only in store I didn't go back... her new thread meant I've ordered 2 presents that I would otherwise have missed out on, so it's all good, and in my view, not a "pointless thread" From a politics angle, I thanked Claire and the original OP....

I don't understand the level of vitriol when this is all about saving money  I know I've saved a small fortune this Christmas alone, and even if I have to wade through a certain amount of posts to get to what I want, it's still better than paying top whack... to be fair, I think people are getting a bit precious!

yayyy for Claire and every other person who is keepin this community going
  • LOL - it is a shame that people cannot abide by rules.

Rules are on forums to help members.

If users have to weed out drivel then it helps nobody.

I am sure that the majority of threads are first class - but there is an awful lot of repeated theads and pointless threads (like this one).

I am sorry that you and others think it is okay to post topics that are against the rules - but if we all stuck to the correct forums we would ALL benefit even more from true bargains - that is why we are here after all.

If this thread is so pointless then, why exactly are you bothering to post here?
