  • Thanks Claire for all your posts past & present.
I actually look out for your username - because I always know it'll be a bargain post and save me time (not money!) and take me straight to something I know will be a good find.
Please ignore silly comments and keep up the good work.

It would seem someone still hasn't heard the saying "if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all."

Claire has helped hundreds, if not thousands, of MSE'rs save a bundle of money on their Christmas shopping this year, not to mention throughout the rest of the year and I, for one, am extremely grateful to her.

The season of goodwill? Not for some it would seem.
I have saved a fortune because of Clare, thank you thank you thank you x:T:T:T:A

My cake and stand has just arrived - and the stand is broken, just like last years too. I'm waiting for customer services to call me back, some problem about not being able to return a cake and of course they're out of stock now anyway so no replacement,

That happened to me last year - outcome for me was they refunded me in full and let me keep the cake (which was very, very nice:T). As it was only for me, rather than purchased as a gift it wasn't too much of a disaster.

Hope you get an outcome suitable to you.

My cake & cake stand are out for delivery. Hope they come soon! I've had the china biscuit barrel posted twice now, & both times it was smashed. M&S told me to throw it out & gave me a £5 credit, for when I next ordered on-line.

Please let my cake stand be ok!

After reading the above posts, I'm not that optimistic!

that is probably because we have people posting non-grabbits, asking when sales start, making new posts when there is no need.

also because nobody is merging threads or removing old threads.

that is justa few of the reasons why the site is getting nasty and why several people decide to post elsewhere.

That is exactly the case, well said.

I have been a member on here since 2004 and it used to be a great site for finding deals etc but now i have to trail through heaps of useless threads that take up 'dare i say' lots of space on this website....

Sorry for being nasty back there but i just feel there should be less of the duplicate noncense going on!

    Merry Xmas :rudolf::rudolf:

ps - as for someone mentioning am i jealous, hmmm jealous of what exactly, cyber space world or bargain thanks, i think not.
