Everyone I've ever been in love with I have looked at and thought, "Wow!" - even thought my sister and other friends have not seen what was so good about their looks. I've noticed that I always like their smell too, which must be a real subconsious thing.

Having said that there was one guy people were always suggesting would be a good match for me - based on the fact we were both tall - and I didn't fancy him, I thought he was too tall - but when I got to know him, we did get on well, and I did fancy him. I think we were both way too scared of commitment and thought a relationship might lead to that so it didn't really go anywhere but I went from not thinking he was good looking to thinking he was, really because he was a very interesting person to talk to. There was also someone else who didn't find me attractive and the relationship didn't go anywhere and I moved on, but we stayed friends, and he changed his mind about that when he got to know me better although we haven't both been single at the same time since so nothing has come of that.

It sounds to me like you fancy him - looking forward to work etc - but it also sounds like a crush. (It takes one who has them to recognise them!) Just think how much you know he is solid and reliable and good marriage material and how much this is a character you are superimposing on him.

I would suggest you don't sleep with him until you are sure that you do fancy him.

It certainly helps if there is a rough patch if you look at someone sleeping and think how beautiful they look.
