Sky Viewing Card Transferable?

Simple question.
I'm thinking ahead to Boxing Day at the in-laws and was wondering if my viewing card (with the full sports package, ESPN) would work on their machine?
They actually have the same Sky+ box but annoyingly for me have a package that excludes the Sky Sports channels.

You'll get the basic channels (Sky1/FX ect) but not the movies or sports as they are premium channels,in their place,you'll get "This is the wrong card for this box,call...." message.0

As per previous reply, the above won't work for sports/film channels.
But why not take your whole box/card and simply connect it to the in-laws' satellite dish connection(s) and their TV's SCART connection?0
