'sigh, sigh, sigh' I've been entering competions for the last 18 months
and i have won a big fat nothing.

Perhaps coming on here i might get a bit of luck rubbed off onto me.

I've been lucky enough to have had lots of wins this year.

My best ones have been

Family Trip to L.A. with spending money, entrance to Universal Studios, and a mask making workshop

and

VIP tickets to Wimbledon 2010 - with all day hospitality (including champagne reception, lunch and afternoon tea) in the Evian Suite. Can't wait!

I get a buzz from all my wins, even the smallest ones, but my best wins of 2009 have been..

4 x Weekend Camping Sonisphere Tickets.
Nokia 5800.
£1000 worth of Fishing Gear.
£400 of Mechanics Tools.
Red Carpet Day Win which included Chaufer driven car for the day, £200 Lunch at Nobu, £1000 Selfridges Gift Card, £200 Cobella Makeover Voucher and Tickets to the World Premier of Avatar.

Thanks to all the posters of the comps and good luck to everyone for the rest of 2009 & all of 2010.

Well I returned to comping in Sept and today I have won 36 prizes in various value and size.

My favourites this year are;
2 VIP tickets to Hennessy Gold Cup @ Newmarket including lunch and all drinks
M-Powered, Pro Tools Essential Desktop Recording Studio
2 VIP tickets to Film Premier of Dead Man running in London inc stay in 5* Mayfair hotel

Thanks to all the comp posters, it has been great to return to the community.

Wow! You guys have had some really great prizes. I have done well this year but my favourites were:

* Nintendo Wii and signed boxing glove from Joe Calazaghe

* BiOrb Aquarium and accessories worth £500 :eek:

* £250 from Magnum which I bought a PS3 for my OH - in my debt for the whole year :rotfl:

Lots of other items but well chuffed. This month is really bad but I'm not complaining (but that's my fault for playing Modern Warfare 2 instead of comping!!!!!). Thanks to all posters and wishing everyone a Happy Christmas and a lucky 2010 :beer:

EDIT: Just got a phone call from my mam and she has won an IPOD Nano from Coke Zone - she's exstatic as this is what she has wanted for ages. Good on ya mam.

I only found MSE in May but I've had an absolutely belting year, I've gone from having nothing to a house full of gadgets, all my wins wether they were a galaxy book, a crunchie or a PS3 have had me whooping and a hollering

altho I cried like a baby when I won the Pepsi Nokia phone so I shall put that as my best win :j

but best of all abeit not really a win, have been the friends I have made during the bonkers comp - you know who you are :T

My biggest win was on Bonkers about biscuits. Made quite a bit of cash and a good friend too. I agree with pigtails about the Bonkers comp, the sharing and the honesty was amazing. :T

My favourite wins have been a Troll Bead, a Dwight Shrute Bobble head and a really expensive roasting tin. They're my favourites as these things I really love but would never have bought them for myself.

My bestest wins were..

32" lcd telly (cried like a baby when this turned up, as I didn't know I'd won it)
Ipod Docking station
2 ipods
£400 garden furniture set
£200 bar-b-que set
£50 bonking biscuits.

And just wanted to add a PS3, Ghostbusters Blu-ray & game that should be arriving in the new year. (found out about that 10 days ago yay!!)

There have been other small wins that were equally thrilling. :j
