Think very carefully before going down this route for the sake of £25.

See this recent post. Would it be a problem for you if they remove the 0% and increase the rate payable on the balance to 27.9% APR?

Hi - I missed 2 consecutive payments on a Capital 1 card that is 0% till Jan 07.They refunded both the late payments when I quoted to them they couldn't charge me banking charges behond their cost (thanks moneyexpert.com!) and my 0% was never under threat. Also, my husband is an additional card holder and he doesn't have authority to discuss the account - only the main cardholder - seems to be the same elsewhere!

i run a Sainsburys credit card for my wife(poor credit history),we got back from our 2 weeks hols on sunday to find she had 2 days to pay £50,i paid it on Monday with my debit card, they "need" 3 days to process this payment,if they start charging,it,s £25 for late payment plus another£25 as the first fine will put her over the credit limit! If they stop the 0% which was due to run till november its the final nail in the coffin for the account, and she needs to get a bank loan to clear it.As you would expect i wont take any of the fines lying down!
I have a deep burning indifference

MBNA will remove it. But if its the first payment and you ask they WILL revert it back to the original deal.

Could try that with halifax as a tempter ....
