T-Mobile G2 Touch

I think I've decided I'm going to get this phone (contract with O2 will be cancelled tomorrow unless retentions will give me a good deal on the Palm Pre)

Faced with two choices - buy from "buymobilephones.net" @ £20 per month with £19.99 cost upfront for phone - 300 mins, unlimited text and 3gb data. The phone cost is counteracted with £20 quidco.

T-Mobile store staff couldn't believe this deal when I told them about it - it's not supposed to be available on the Combi 15 Offer tariff.

I've not read many good things about BMP.net though, so my other option is a reconditioned G2 from T-Mobile direct - it says on the website they're 14 day returns.

100 mins, unlimited texts and unlimited internet, again for £20 on a 24.

Opinions? Anyone seen a better deal?

If you are not after unlimited text, then would suggest to go for 18months contract , you get

    100 min 100 text & unlimietd internet = £18.00 X 18 MONTHS OR

call customer service and ask for Unlimited Landline, Unlimited Texts, Unlimited T-mobile Talk ,Unlimited internet(add-on) & 75 minutes any network (call customer service and request to authorise from manager to get g2 reconditioned) £20 x 24 months.

I called on tuesday and ask for G2 recondition with this above contract, she said to me out of stock, for some reason i felt she lying on other side, i tried calling again and spoke to someone else and i got my phone yesterday so giv a try again.. N96 is out of stock from 1st day, but yea maybe now g2 is also out of stock , when did you called them?? and what about the delieveries ? have u had any problems in receiving orders?

Amazing thing is that, i got two new additional lines, one was the above deal free delivery, and second was solo 10 (2months free ) and they charged me £6.95 + £1 for sim ,so i called cs today & got refund on my account.
  • i am calling for few days.
t-mobile had issues with delivery and flat numbers dropped out from the address. it happened with me twice and now phone is out of stock.
I left with a credit search , 2 order (that got cancelled automatically as phone had different address) and still left with no phone. worst provider.
I am thinking of taking action against them.

I got the BMP deal you quoted. Ordered last Thursday and it arrived Saurday. Amazed by the phone and the deal (and Quidco has tracked). Also have checked my usage on line and can see that I haven't been charged for data.

I decided just to risk it with BMP in the end - ordered yesterday at 14:30 and got an email a couple of hours later saying there was a delay in processing orders so I wouldn't get the free Saturday delivery as promised.

"Here we go...." I thought - but I got 2 emails today confirming my order has been approved and the phone has been dispatched for delivery on Tuesday.

Looks like they're swamped with orders but seem to be coming up with the goods - time will tell....

T-Mobile said they couldn't get close to the offer that BMP have on for this phone (instore though - didn't bother trying the call centre after hearing people were promised one plan and put on another)
