La Bodega is nice, it's a tapas bar.
If you fancy travelling a few miles, I have heard Lucy's in Ambleside is good too0 -
Hi we love Bowness and just went there on our honeymoon. I can thourouhly reccomend Lucy 4 in Bowness, the Whitehouse in Bowness and also the Glasshouse in Windermere.
Lucy 4 does tapas and you order a few seperate dishes. It is one of our fave restaurants and often drive there from Carlisle just for an evening out. They do an amzing fondue aswell and you get a huge pot of chocolate and tonnes of fruit and marshmallows mmmmmm! They have a gorgeous coal fire aswell!

Zeferellis in Ambleside is lovely. Vegetarian, but still lovely. Didn't like 'The Priests Hole' in Ambleside. There was a nice little restaurant opposite Tesco in Windermere that did a smashing early evening deal on fish, chips & peas. Can't remember the name tho' - sorry.0

Francines in Windermere is our favourite, they do an early dinner special for £17.95. Lunch is excellent too.
Vinegar Jones in Bowness make fantastic chips. The cafes at Booths supermarket and Lakeland are good too.0 -
