Which phone to buy?

My wife needs a new phone. She just got a Nokia 2680 on a Tmobile Flext contract(good deal) but the phone is rather basic. she has got Web n Walk. Looking to get a better phone. she had a Sony W 890 I think. want to spend about £80. looked at Tocco Lite and LG Cookie. Any recommendations? Thanks for your help.

  • I dont recommend the LG cookie, due the amount of problems that i have read.
The tocco lite seems like the upgraded version of the cookie.
I can suggest the nokia 5530 which is about £110 including £10 top up. (last time i checked)

Except the Tocco Lite is made by Samsung and not LG? I've just been given an LG Cookie that's only a few months old by someone who hated it. I can see why too. It's remarkably slow compared even to my old SE550i.
  • Yeah i have heard bad things about the LG cookies too.
I have a samsung tocco and love it, not the lite though, the F480 in pink, got no complaints.
Sony's are pretty good phones too, especially for music, but for internet and texting etc then i would say the tocco.
  • I would definitely go for the Tocco Lite out of those two. I know a few people who have them, and they all seem pretty happy with them too. It looks like a good phone for a Medium user of a phone.

    - Decent Camera (3MP)
    - Touch Screen Functionality
    - Compact Size
    - Decent web browser
    - Built in MP3 player
    - Good Value for money

So, I doubt your wife would be disappointed.

    Rob. :)

The tocco lite is the better of the two and apparently it is the most wanted phone at the moment, according to this article anyway:

    http://www.mobiletoday.co.uk/ShopIdol/Retail_News/Samsung_takes_prepay_top_slot_ahead_of_Nokia.aspx

Especially as it can be had for about £70 or less at the moment.

    Hope this helps.
