Hi,
Been using diluted tea tree oil for a while now due to probs with mould in the bathroom and not wanting to upset asthmatic housemate with harsh chemical products.
Works a treat for this as well as deodorising bins/carpets/towels etc.
Does anyone else use tea tree round the house and have any tips and also where do they buy it from?
I usually get larger bottles from Holland and Barrett... anyone have any ideas where to get it more cheaply?
Thanks.

http://www.mantra-aromatherapy.co.uk/ these are very reasonable
I use a mix of vinegar and water and a few drops of tea tree and lemon essential oils for my kitchen surfaces instead of flash - it does a great job.0 -
I buy mine from the same place as you do,Holland and Barrett
The only use I have had from it is to put it on coldsore when I get one. I find they disappear much quicker than when I use creams from the pharmacy. I don't dilute it but apply a small amount on the affected area a few times a day.0 -
I also get mine from Holland and Barratt. Maybe try eBay?I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Quick Grabbit, Freebies, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning and the UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.

Try Savers, I am sure I have seen tea tree oil there. Boots also sell it, was lucky enough to get a bottle on one of the clearance shelves (The Australian Body Care (brown box) ones) a while back.0

Cheapest place I have found for it on the high street is the Body Shop, am sure it would be cheaper online but sometimes you don't want to wait.

I think you do get what you pay for....the cheaper stuff.is often diluted,or mixed with other ingredients....fine for cleaning etc,but if you want pure good quality tea tree oil,you have to pay for it.:DObstacles are things a person sees when he takes his eyes off his goal.0
