BT line/Broadband

I recently applied to Madasafish for their reasonably priced Broadband package (having been a dial-up person for ages!). Having been told that it would take about 10 days before they sent a modem etc I was told by them that as I had a BT line there were big problems with 'BT Warehousing' and that I hadn't even reached their queuing system yet!! I cancelled my contract with MAAF and requested my first payment be refunded as they had failed to provide me with the service I'd been charged for. Does this mean if I try another ISP there will be BT problems? I've returned to dial-up for now...slow but reliable...

what was the exact problem? theres a MAAF person usually on hand here, not sure if shes customer service, or trying to drum up comission for her sales, but im sure she'll shed some light on the situation :)

MAAF stated that it wasn't their problem but a BT one. Apparently big queues at BT Wholesale and that I hadn't even reached the queue stage yet! My arguement is also why they sold me their product knowing I had a BT landline and that this problem existed. Not sure if it was a local or national issue. I found it very difficult understanding MAAF's attempt at an explanation.....

theres no such thing as a Wholesale 'queue' so im confused as well as to why MAAF have said that. Most likely the order was rejected by Wholesale for some reason & MAAF arent telling you the reason why!
  • Hi Rachelcward,

I work within Madasafish Customer Care and I'd like to investigate what happened with your order.

I'd be grateful if you could please PM me your Madasafish username I'll provide you with a full explanation of what happened with your order.

    Kind regards,
    Samara

ps. Just a quick note to also say that I'm on MSE to help, I like MSE and it's provided me with valueable information on Mortgages and I love Debt Free Wanabee. I'm not here specifically to drum up sales although I hope that I've been able to impress you enough that you'll at least consider Madasafish in the future;)
