Bookie are there any local courses that are free for people on particular types of benefits? I know we have a new level 2 sage course starting in January so your local college might do something:confused:
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

Good plan. If I can't find anything else, I'll go with that.

  • Bookie - I have a feeling there might be tutorial on the Sage site or something or a small sample version of Sage you can download - can always try that and get a book from the library.
I think Pitman might do a course as well but not sure if you would get it free or whether you would have to pay?

Snow update: Guildford - had a flurry earlier but nothing at the moment - meant to be heavy later so I'm probably not going to college tonight - ho hum.

  • Oh our college have 2 different bits I think - the normal courses and I think they have a seperate department for 'retraining' because of the recession - althpough not sure whether they are seperate courses or whether they somehow refer you to the main courses - if that makes sense so check if they have retraining/job seeker type courses as well as the normal ones.

It just chucked it down with snow for about 10 minutes and there's a fine covering on everything now, don't think it'll last though.

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

Pooky - I shall be there tomorrow evening to find out for myself. And I'm used to Folkestone, I'm a Hawkinge lass, so I'm used to worse.

In Fareham, there's a tubload of clouds but NO snow!

    Hi Linda

We very rarely get snow so I'm not holding out much hope. Getting my new car tonight :D :T It's a little overpriced so I'm going waving cash and hoping.
