Woohoo just spoken to the Disabled Students Allowance people at the OU, the letter I got a couple of years ago to let me use computers in exams will be fine for them to use in the assessment, saves me £15!
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.

Can you ask for that in writing in case it gets to the day and they deny all knowledge of you asking?

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

Hmmm - well pre counselling session went okay I think. TBH I feel so distant from everything that it didn't really touch me IYSWIM.

Anyways, I have a provisional starting time for the course of sessions in January but there is one minor glitch. I need to find childcare for nathan for an hour...

  • Afternoon all!

Just grabbing a quick lunch then off to Sainsburys. Hopefully, they'll have something I can get for a Secret Santa for a guy I know next to nothing about. Otherwise, I'll be traipsing around the town centre all afternoon. Why do I agree to these things?

    Tis sleeting/snowing/hailing/windy/cold and blugh in Kent, Elfen...but nothing's sticking......yet.

And yes Lou I did make the bus driver do his job, even though he was muttering about being late. They've only just changed all the buses to new easy access ones, just a shame they've not seemed to train the drivers in the art of customer service.

I've de-skanked DD's rooms - what is it about shoving a bit of paper in a box, in a bag, in a draw.....my 2 are very good at it....I'm sure I was never that untidy and dirty......but my mother would probably say different :D
