Explain to them what the problem is with regards to the line being slammed by the 3rd party. They should be able to waive the fee (if the is any) with the line only being recently tosesd.
You might find this CAB page useful with regards to it mOOnie:

Make sure you read ALL the T&Cs and service provision (ie what you'll be getting for your £££s) from TalkTalk.
Moving to TT may be quite a shock when you look at the small print.0 -

Its not im afraid, PO Homephone is completely separate.
PO Homephone is a BTwholesale white label resold product, basically everthing is BT apart from the bill, the Post Office send out the bill and collect the money from the end user, then pay BT a wholesale fee for using their kit, the PO dont have any PSTN kit, but do set their own retail price0 -

Post Office are not BT... they rent services off BT Wholesale... just like BT Retail do. The two companies offer completely different support over the phone and enforce different T's + C's with their products. Yes they are providing the same service (a phone line)... but saying Post Office is BT would be like saying that Orange are the same company as T-Mobile because they both offer the same contract phones :P.0

I wasnt saying PO and BT are the same company , my point is that there is no technical difference between the telephony service offered by the
PO and BT Retail, say a BT R user makes a call to a relative in another town, changes service to the PO and makes the same call, the call set up and carriage is identical on both calls, the end user may be charged at different rates and a call to customer services would be answered by the appropriate company or agent ,but your everyday service is the same0 -
