LTSB debit card driving me mental!

I found this thread using Google 'cause I've had the same bother -


My wife and I have two joint LloydsTSB accounts - one for 'bills' and one for 'spending' - this works fine until we go to ASDA where we both get an 'incorrect pin' message when trying to use our 'spending' account cards,


We had gotten into the habit of using the 'bills' account in ASDA but when I was in branch recently I asked for a new pin for the 'spending' account - once it arrived I withdrew cash with this new pin, went into ASDA, done a bit of shopping, and heading for the checkout .... Incorrect PIN !!


I even had the PIN slip that Lloyds had posted to me to double check but no joy !!


Kinda shoite !!


ASDA is local for us and we do a lot of shopping there but I reckon we'll just go back to using the other account as I'm not confident that this will get sorted out !

anyone able to say what's going on here ?

I had the same issue a couple of years ago with a Natwest debit card. They tried 3 replacements, all worked in cashpoints but would block in shops. After 3 cards, I gave up and moved banks.
