If your post had been just about poor customer service then I doubt if there would have been anyone who would have posted anything other than support, and examples of similar poor customer service, where you lost the crowd was by seeking to exploit the compensation culture in this country and be compensated for something as 'terrible' as someone talking over you ,and not listening to what you were saying, hence the sarcastic responses regards what level of compenstaion you would expect for this , you had already decided to leave BT, so you should speak to Talk Talk with any questions with regard to your changeover of service, I cannot see why you would need to speak to BT after Talk Talk has signed you up,
Have a search for examples of poor TT customer service, out of the frying pan ,me thinks0 -

I've been lied to by BT. I've been called a liar by BT. I've had people raise their voices at me. I've had people hang up on me. I've been told I'll be called back a million(*) times which never happens.
I've spent 6 months trying to get compensation out of them for the amount of my time they've wasted and the fact they overcharge me *every month* - where have I got? *NOWHERE*. The more you complain, the more of their incompetence you're subjected to, the more people mess you around and the more miserable you get.
I honestly think the best thing you can do is let it go, cut all ties with the *bunch of muppets*, never touch them with a bargepole again and do all you can to save other poor sods from getting involved with them in any way, shape or form.
*Slight exaggeration, but only slight0 -

Where do you people get off being rude? its beyond me
It is quite clear in the t&c's, and I was merely trying to help as others have been caught out by binning the ip's router, then getting a £50+ bill for it.0 -
TaliaTalia - dont let the braindeads on this post get you down - the soaps are on now, so they'll be engaged watching that drivel while sucking their thumbs and cosying into mummy0

So you're not planning to take out any credit over the next six and a half years? Good luck.0

I totally agree with you, I am always surprised at how many "smart alec" remarks you get on these forums, not sure why, but there seems to be a certain element who enjoy hiding behind their computer screens and spouting off sarcastic or patronising comments, its annoying, and uncalled for.what goes around, comes around...........0
