there is a .jpg at the end of this as well, wont let me post link due to being new

Link to the pic. In this A is the location of the street they put on the notice. I have put a B indicating the car park I was in, circled the guys flat and an arrow pointing to the space I was in. Here you can clearly see they are numbered for the flats (Slightly more than I originally thought)

My friend has a flat in Ramsgate, which has designated parking spaces for residents. Clearly states that permits must be shown to park there.... fair enough.
Whose sign is it? Post a pic if possible.
    Who issues the permits required?
  • pcn is more important at the moment along with real pics, google earth is a good indicator but can be a year or two out of date.

  • Thanks for your help so far guys, I will try and get photos of the area. Due to it being a while away its not that easy.

Here are the scanned images of the PCN for you. Obviously both have .jpg after them but wont let me post links.

Ticket says Location: Leopold steet annex car park ramsgate....

but the carpark is actually in princes street which leopold turns onto.

Just trying to get a picture from Google now

If this is the case then surely the "Contravention did not occur"" as you did not park on Leopold Street. You don't, I think, have to tell them where you did park, thats up to them to sort out. You could well ask for ceo pictures and notes regarding this as it will help you case if it goes to adjudication.
You could ask for the parking order which entitles them to ticket on private land.

According to your google map Leopold Street is not connected to Princes street, unless it does so further down, anyway every little helps. http://i50.tinypic.com/2lny3ye

  • The multi story (building below where I parked) leads back onto Leopold street. Im thinking that the carpark opposite where I was parked is the Leopold street annix they were talking about.
  • So is the car park private or part of the multi story? Were you parked beside where the red cars are?

  • Yes, in those bays next to the red cars. They are numbered for the flats, I assume that would be private car park? They are not part of the multi storey as there are no pay and display points in this little carpark. Just a permit holders only sign.
  • Send an appeal based on "the contravention did not occur" You were not parked on Leopold street.
    Anyone else concur or disagree?

You still haven't said who issues the required permits, estate agent, landlord or council
