Hi, have gone for this upgrade from my existing Sky+ full package. Waiting for letter now regards fitting. Question is that I have been told by two different people who have this exact package that they only pay one lot of extra sub at £10 and not £10 for HD and then another £10 for the multiroom.
Is that just a deal they must have got from Sky or is that the norm?
I did ask at the kiosk where I signed up but the woman did not seem too clued up and 'thought' that it would be two lots of £10.
The other Q is taht I already have a brand new HD box that my dad had before he passed away ( 1 week old) but will obviously still get the free one from Sky but if I ask for HD upstairs for the multiroom will that be another additional £10 as well??
cheers

It's £10 HD sub per box plus £10 Multiroom sub going by how it was when I worked for Sky.
Both boxes must be connected to a fixed & working 2 way phone line at all times or the £10 Multiroom sub goes to full price.0 -
Cheers. Is the phone line install part of the multiroom install cost as we haven't got a line in the bedroom presently. Also, how much is the full multiroom sub? I thought £10 WAS the full price! And is there only 1 multiroom sub or is that per room/box as well??0

Phone extension is included.
Full multiroom sub is the same price you pay for your main box in the lounge,(ie say you pay £30 for the box in the lounge,)
If you get the multiroom then as long as you keep all the extra boxes connected to the phone, then you'll only pay £10 HOWEVER if you dont keep them connected to the phone, then you'll pay the £30.(It's to prevent you getting a second box & fitting it in your mom's house down the street & charging her the £10)
And it's per box minus your main box that you pay full price for.0
