Nokia 6230i - how to get rid of tesco logo?

I've got a Nokia 6230i which was on Tesco network, but I've unlocked it and use O2 now.

The tesco logo still comes up on the screen though - can I get rid of this?

Any advice greatly appreciated!

is it a startup logo on the phone branding? if so it will need reflashing with unbranded s/w

when the phone is on, a tesco mobile logo stays in the middle of the screen, in front of the wallpaper, which is a pain!

if this would need to be flashed with unbranded s/w what would this entail?

of course, it's not the end of the world, but it would just be nicer without the tesco logo

This is known as the "Operator Logo" and you want a blank one. Ask google and you'll soon find how to get one sent to your phone for free.
