I bought my other half Grand Prix tickets last year, but they didnt get sent out until a few weeks before the event.

I got a photo jigsaw made, using paint or a similar computer program I created a pic of a F1 car and put details of the event on top of it. I then wrapped up a few jigsaw peices in each of his little presents so he had to find all the peices to know what his present was.

Once the jigsaw is complete it makes a nice reminder of the day. Think I used truprint for the jigsaw

How about writing or printing a ticket out and placing it inside the cover of a DVD box or CD case and wrapping that up.
I did this for my Mum when I was preganant, as a suprise I put a copy of my scan photo in a CD case and gave her that on christmas day (because she had asked for a specific CD for christmas) her face was a treat when she realised what it was (followed by lots of hugging and crying!)

  • Thanks so much for the ideas - you guys are so much more creative than me! Keep them coming!:T
  • I've put mine in a spare photo frame I had. I printed a picture that was relevant and put the tickets next to it, and made an attempt at mounting myself. Looks quite cool and I think the recipient will do a double take to see that the tickets are for a future event.

My cousin got me a ticket last christmas for Pink concert in March, she made a mock up of the ticket and put it in a lovely gold box full of those bows you put on top of presents.
I had no idea what was in the box, but was absolutely delighted when I opened it.
