Can I return a phone if I dont like it?

If you bought in store no, there's no cooling off period.
You get 7 days if bought online or over the phone (distance selling regs).0 -
Is that 100% definate Jon?0

Afraid so, you have no right in law to take anything back if you don't like it.
Some shops (like Argos) have a policy to give you x days to change your mind, but there's no onus on they to have one.
The law sees it that you have the chance to use the item in the store and decide, unlike buying online where you can't see what your getting. Sorry...0 -

Hi deano,
i was putting the tocca ultra on my upgrade list. if you dont mind me asking what didnt you like about that phone?.0 -
OP - What would they do if it was faulty, and there was no stock of it for swapping for a new one? Would they replace it with a different model? Maybe having a polite word with the store manager is in order?0
-
Now if you got it instore they can turn round and say you should of asked to play with it before buying, as most places have working model's to play with.
Take it back say your very unhappy with it and would like to change it, it may result in your having to pay for an upgraded. But play with the one you want first, you can ask for a selection to play with.GC July: £0/£1200 -
FAO Zooks - The touchscreen is sometimes slow to respond, and takes a while to "catch up" - also I have quite big fingers so sometimes catch the wrong icon/selection. Also - while texting, if you want to correct a previous word you have typed, you have to delete the whole word, and re-type, as opposed to simply selecting the last letter of the word, and cycling through the list of word options. Hope that made sense!
I dunno - it just seems fiddly to me. But thats my personal taste.Would gladly up my contract for a better phone.0 -
