did you click on the "save log" button ?? bottom left , then "save to desktop
on you main pc screen you shold see a file called "hijackthis.log"Ex forum ambassador

nope nothing I double clicked the icon and it shows and alert saying hijackthis is already running!!!

Reboot to clear any instances that are running.
Start HijackThis, and click "Do a system scan and save a logfile" HijackThis should complete in a few seconds, and notepad with the log will take about another 10 seconds.0 -
it will go when you restart the PC or "right click" down on the bottom right of the screen when the time is , clcik on "task manager" click on the "applications" tab and it should be there on the lists. Click on the "end task" button and it should goEx forum ambassador
