  • no just the charger!!

    im going to scan everything......

Are you able to tell me when I post the log up what infected my laptop?

I have an idea but I dont want to go throwing around accusations!!

Did you ever get a window popping up on your computer telling you that you had XX viruses on your computer, and that you had to download some software to get rid of them? If so, that's where it's come from. It's quite common actually, and I've had it several times. If you crash the application though without clicking anything, you should remain secure. (i.e. task manager, end task.)

As to where it came from, Facebook is a common site, through some 3rd party applications. Although other rogue sites can cause it too. If you know what site you were on when (and if) this popped up, that's the problem.

Thank you All so much for helping me!!
Actually I panic too easily, and the OH told me off and said it was my fault!! Then left for work....and hasnt texted or rang since:( so i kinda wanted it sorted before he came home at 10 tonight!!...just so that I could give him the fingers and say its sorted!!!!:rotfl:

    Im so nice!!:D

He knows that im not technically minded and probably thinks that he has to come home from work to sit down and sort it out!!

Know the feeling. When I was younger, I always got the blame everytime our computer wouldn't start up, or got a blue screen error. Even if I wasn't the last one using it!

Fair enough, I probably did break it more than my fair share of times...But I had to learn somehow!:D

Well Facebook has changed their privacy policy, and what you got seems normal. I assume you hadn't logged on in a few days? It got rolled out a couple of days ago if I remember correctly. Did you get a window popping up at the same time telling you that your computer was infected?

Should be! Mine takes a maximum of 3 hours. Has it found anything so far?
