o2 cashback offer

I've been with o2 for over 12 months so I can now cancel at anytime. Would it be possible to cancel and then sign up to o2 again through a cashback site to make use of the cashback?

To do that you'd have to go through a full cancel as they are unlikley to accept their own Mac and pay cashback. Then you run the risk that they tell you to sling your hook when you tried to sign again. Didn't you get the offer of 3 months free to sign up for another 12 months via email? You could try phoning and see if they can offer any sweeteners.

And you'd have a gap in service.
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)

Dodgy unless you want to rob santa on xmas day of his mobile laptop.

Go with O2's sister company Be and this should move over smoothly and you'll get cashback.

Have you tried speaking to O2? I've had ADSL2 off them free for 18 months now by sticking with them with my Simplicty deal (£10 PM 300mins).

https://www.quidco.com/utilities/bethere-co-uk offer £40 but I'm sure O2 will offer you something (try and not act like a goat or mention cashback).

Are you sure about this?-there was an issue on here a month or two back with a Be-O2 transfer where the poster couldn't use a Be MAC to transfer to O2 online, so had to sign up by phone-and so couldn't go via Quidco.

Yeah, I did it. Don't recall any problems and got my cash. Only thing that I recall was I left my Be contract early and nothing was said (same company obviously but you'd expect some numpty somewhere to send a threat letter -they must of got a job working with AOL or something).

I personally wouldn't move just to get a few quid from anyone as you can get problems and doing it over xmas may leave you with no ADSL.
