Yes I have online banking, but wasn't checking it as I wasn't using that account anymore.
I thought Lloydstsb currently charge £6 per day for unplanned overdraft balances under £25, not £15
You can't call the £75 a bank charge - that is what you instructed the bank to pay a third party.
Lloydstsb gave me a pretty big planned overdraft (based on average monthly income at the time) without even asking, which avoids these charges anyway

Can you point me to where the OP says his mobile phone bill was £75.
Thanks in advance.0 -

Thanks in advance.
Can you point me anywhere that LLoydsTSB say they'll charge £75 for an unpaid standing order? (It's typically £20 charge for an unpaid item)
The OP said it was a standing order. (see my previous quoted text)
I've no idea what it was set up for. Crystal ball clouded over there I'm afraid."Now to trolling as a concept. .... Yes the 75 was a BANK CHARGE for a mobile phone bill of a different amount.
The line that the bank took with me when I said "Why on earth would you let me withdraw funds from my account if I did not have that money" was "Well you might of needed it so we gave you a buffer"
Aww how >kind< of them.
Lets not forget it is illegal to charge (a fine) for something if that fine is not representative of the cost incurred by the company. i.e. did my £10 really cost them £15 a day in admin fees?0 -

Get them to point out where this is in the their terms & conditions and kindly provide the link here
Also get them to point out the £15 daily charge for a £10 unplanned overdraft - their published price appears to be £6 to me

Let me find the papers and I shall post em up.
Bear in mind the fees stacked, so a couple of £6 a days would have pushed me to 25 over bumping the fee to 15 a day.0
