Grounds for reclaiming bank charges?

I went over my overdraft a while ago by a small amount (£10-15) but due to the postal strike I didn't find out about it until 8 days later! So I ended up being charged £200.
Would I have grounds to file a complaint and reclaim these charges, and if I do will my bank do anything to me (reduce my overdraft, make any special demands) ?

Can I ask how the postal strike contributed to the charges?0 -
Because the letter detailing to me that I had gone over wasn't delivered.
And my bank was too lazy to pick up the damn phone and call me!0 -
Itemise how they (and name the bank) got to £200 charges from a £10-£15 unauthorised overdraft for 8 days please.

It was £15 a day for being over then an additional £75 for having a standing order which they had to honour.0

Do you have online banking?
Real time balances and the facility to clear unauthorised debts that day are included...0 -
Which bank was that?

Did they really charge you £75 for paying a standing order for you? Or was that £75 paid to the person who the standing order was made out to?"Now to trolling as a concept. .... Lloyds. They charged me 75 for a standing order to my mobile phone company.
Yes I have online banking, but wasn't checking it as I wasn't using that account anymore.0 -
