                    Hi there,
We are considering a flydrive with flyglobespan to Orlando. However, we have never used flyglobespan
to fly to Orlando.
Can anybody please provide some experiences with flyglobespan to Orlando? The aircraft, meals, entertainment, etc!
Also what is Sanford airport like? Has it changed? Good duty free, places to eat etc? Immigration speed?
Thank you in advance!
Xx

I have posted a link in the beat my quote thread but just to say I personally would be wary of booking with Globespan at the moment http://www.ttglive.com/c/portal/layout?p_l_id=3208370&CMPI_SHARED_articleId=3451656&CMPI_SHARED_ImageArticleId=3451656&CMPI_SHARED_articleIdRelated=3451656&CMPI_SHARED_ToolsArticleId=3451656&CMPI_SHARED_CommentArticleId=3451656&articleTitle=Globespan%20denies%20on-the-brink%20rumours it may all turn out fine but I would say if you do book with them make sure you use a credit card for peace of mind.0

Rumours are rumours and flyglobespan have weathered them in the past. We're in a recession - no airline is 100% safe. Go for it - but as the previous poster said, always use a credit card for the added protection.
Added17th Dec: wow I got that wrong! I'm glad I added that last bit on the end. Really sorry for all the staff and travellers affected,0

i have used them on 3 visits to sanford, i've flew first class with tcd and globespan and theres not much difference in terms of service offered.
Apart from first class it's a basic package you get what you pay for, but hey i flew there from glasgow one way for £179, for that money i'm not looking for anything special. 6 flights 2 delays. I'm using them again this year. Dont let the doom and gloom merchants put you off :rotfl:0

I would wait until Friday before booking as they have to have funding in place within 48 hours from today to meet CAA requirements0

Sanford - Has expanded and modernized a great deal - Immigration and customs still extremely fast car hire has grown in size and efficiency - Sanford is a great example of a great local airport.C. (Ex-Pat Brit)

He shouldn't be If he had booked and paid with credit card he could have made some quick money. If he had booked and paid with credit card he could have made some quick money.
I've flown with then twice and was booked up for July 2010...Paid for 3 tickets (deposit £300+) on credit card. I am now in the process of contacting credit card company to claim back over £2100 :T No one likes to see folk out of jobs but for some of us there is a silver lining.

Surely they'll only refund what you paid on the credit card - not the total cost of tickets or holiday if paid by other means....Mortgage - Free :j
