Not quite true. You need to have a C&G in Motor Mechanics or otherwise work in the motor trade.

Unfortunately dont live in lincoln area, but will be there over new year visiting inlaws.

And dont have means to get a trade card.

Seems costco may do car batteries, so will ask around if anyone will be visiting.

Found this info so costco look best value. Our nearest one is Thurrock.

Is the high capcity battery really necessary on this car?

Seems that there is always a choice of about 60Ah and 80Ah.
